Stop A Program From Running Window 7

Sometimes I want to stop many programs from running on Windows 7 and other Windows operating systems, which include Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 8, because there are many advertisement programs and many annoying applications which always run automatically when the Windows 7 start up. I hate these programs, so, I want to stop these programs from running when the Windows 7 start up. However, is there way to stop a program from running on Windows 7 and how to stop a program from running on Windows 7.
 
After studied a lot of articles from Internent, I have gotten two ways to stop a program from running on Windows 7 and other Windows operating system. Following are these ways to stop a program from running on Windows 7.
 
1. Set A Software Restriction Policy To Stop A Program From Running On WindowS 7
 
1) Type gpedit.msc into the Run and then press 'Enter' to open the Windows Local Group Policy Editor.
 
2) Go down to Computer Configuration > Windows Settings > Security Settings.
 
3) Right-click on "Software Restriction Policies" and create new policies.
 
After created a software restriction policy, you can stop a program from running on Windows 7.
 
2. Using A Professional Utility To Stop A Program From Running On Windows 7
 
By this way, It is necessary to install a professional utility into computer.
